16ft Boat Trailer Dave Green
I started making iron wrought gates and fences a few years ago using an old band saw and a disc cutter. I found it hard work and tried to avoid cutting angles & taking on difficult jobs.
THEN I saw the RAGE® saw range, and was so impressed by the range of saws I decided to buy a RAGE® 185mm Circular Saw. This was over two years ago and I used it to cut plate to make my workshop doors. It was like cutting though butter - truly a trusted workhorse.
Then I saw the 255mm TCT Sliding Mitre Saw - I bought the Mitre Saw last year and just can’t think how I managed without it. I work from home and build gates etc - my last job was to build this 16 foot boat trailer, which is mostly made out of 50 x 50 x 5mm, box section. This is where the RAGE3 came into its own; getting clean, square cuts at 45° angles. It’s so quick to change from square to a 45° angle and this has spurred me on to make and build bigger things.
I have told mates in the trade and demonstrated mine for them; their reaction was WOW! I am getting one of them.
