Plow Modifications Shaun Mcdonald
I just used my RAGE3 255mm TCT Multipurpose Sliding Mitre Saw to cut pieces for a plow that I modified for a customer. He needed to have a hydraulic cylinder mounted so that he could angle the plow without having to pull out a pin and angle it manually.
I fabricated brackets to mount the cylinder onto the plow. The material used was 1/2" x 2 hot rolled steel flat stock. And 1/2" by 3” hot rolled flatstock. The saw worked amazingly. Cut through the material nice and quick, and very accurately.
