Steel Sheets and Reclaimed Timber Frank Brumby

I purchased a RAGE 185mm Multipurpose Circular Saw to assist with the construction of a steel building at our bowls club as the previous one made of wood had burnt down. The product was being demonstrated by video in our local B&Q and I thought I'd give it a go. We thought we would rebuild it out of steel and therefore needed a saw which could cope with the workload.

The overall size of the building is 12' x 20' approx. We used the saw to cut the 3mm galvanised mild steel frame and the 1mm thick steel sheeting which was used to clad the building. We also used it to cut through the reclaimed wood foundation boards, these contained several nails, which the RAGE breezed through.

I've had the saw about two years now, although the blade needs replacing now - not bad really considering the use it's had.
