30.06.2009     A WORK OF KART: THE ALL NEW EVOLUTION TV AD

Evolution's exciting new TV advert, set to air in July, gives the world their first taste of the next level of multipurpose cutting; the OUTRAGE 36V Li-Ion Multipurpose Circular Saw.

Filmed on the rolling hills of Keswick, Cumbria the commercial stars current British Rally Champion Guy Wilks, an Evolution OUTRAGE and a scene stealing cameo performance from a rogue sheep!

It sounds bizarre but the story follows Guy using his OUTRAGE, at the top of Latrigg Fell, Keswick, to cut bespoke pieces of Steel, Aluminium and Wood in order to create a gravity fed go-kart. Previously Evolution's range of innovative multipurpose saws had been shackled to the plug but the new 36V Li-Ion OUTRAGE delivers ultimate freedom coupled with an incredible performance.

Wilks then gleefully speeds down a steep, twisting track in his newly constructed kart with a curious 'woolly' spectator keeping a keen eye on things.

A highlight of the ad is 'EVO-CAM', which is an in-kart view, giving the audience a close-up of Wilks' reactions as he comes hurtling down the hill. Plus the aptly named 'You Build Me Up To Bring Me Down' Datsuns song provides a fitting soundtrack.

The advert is due to be first aired 1st July 2009 on popular Freeview, Satellite and Cable channels such as Sky Sports, DAVE, Comedy Central, Watch, FX, Eurosport and ESPN Classic.
